Shipping and Delivery

Lite Commercial Dismantlers can only send goods to a physical address in New Zealand.  We do not deliver to Post Box addresses.

Goods will be sent once payment in full has been made by the customer.

The freight charge (including packaging) is based on the destination, speed of delivery required, size and weight of the parcel.  This charge is shown separately on your invoice.

We provide a variety of delivery systems using both road freight and couriers to convey our goods.  Please note that several freight companies now charge extra to deliver to a residential address.

Courier Delivery

  • Local deliveries – same day **
  • South Island main centres – next working day **
  • North Island main centres – next working day **

**  This will occur if orders are accepted before ‘the next day’ dispatch has occurred.

Urgent Deliveries

  • Urgent deliveries are available at an additional cost.
  • If orders are accepted before the ‘same day dispatch’ deadline has occurred, the goods will be delivered more promptly.

Road Freight

  • South Island main centres,  1-3 working days
  • North Island main centres,   1-4 working days

Rural Deliveries

  • Rural deliveries are available at an additional cost for most NZ addresses.
  • Please allow up to an additional 2 working days for delivery.
  • If an item is unable to be delivered to a rural address, it will be sent to the nearest Transport Depot to be collected by the customer.

Lite Commercial Dismantlers advises its customers to have all goods shipped to a location that is attended during business hours, i.e. home, work or another address.  The risk of any loss of, or damage to, the products will pass to the customer on delivery.  Delivery occurs when the goods have arrived at the agreed address.

Damage or Loss of Goods in Transit

Upon delivery, the customer should check the parcel immediately to ensure the goods ordered are present and that no damage has occurred in transit.  If you are required to sign for the delivery, this inspection must be done before signing.

If there is any discrepancy in the order or damage, this should be recorded on the transport company’s note.

The customer must then contact Lite Commercial Dismantlers within 7 days of delivery regarding the discrepancy or damage otherwise we will consider that the goods have been accepted by you as being in good condition in accordance with the sale terms.

For further information see Clause 7.8 in our Terms of Trade which are available on this website.
